How it Works

Each of the 12 topic chapters has 6 pages, and will run you through some simple contemplation about the topic.

  1. Reflection: You’ll respond to short questions that help clarify your thoughts, assumptions, and beliefs about alcohol. Then again, at the end of the chapter and see if any attitudes have changed.
  2. Tracking: Chapters include 30-day calendars so you can look back to observe how often habits, choices, or outcomes matched your intentions.
  3. Information: Each section gives context and research-based ideas about alcohol use, self-control, and decision-making without telling you what to do.
  4. Self-Assessment: Quizzes help identify patterns. Questions are based on established screening formats, but your results are for personal insight only, not formal assessment.
