Alcoholics Anonymous
You can find an AA meeting just about anyplace in the world, at any hour of the day. Meetings are also held online. Newcomers are treated with respect. Everyone remembers their first meeting. You are in a room of people who support you for being there. No judgements, no shame. They are proud to be AA members and will want you to feel safe and welcome. Find a meeting near you.
AA meetings are always free, and as the name states, Anonymous. You will find leaders of industry, teachers, doctors, truck drivers, gardeners, chefs or any other profession you can imagine. Attending one meeting does not mean you have to return. You are free to try one, and then try another. In fact, AA suggests you try to attend 90 meetings in 90 days so that you can see the full spectrum of opportunities, not just have a single impression.
